Are you ready for a mountain-top experience? If you like high altitude adventure while drawing closer to God in the midst of His magnificent creation, then this is the camp for you! Please be aware that this camp will be physically challenging. A typical day will include rising early to hike an average of 5-6 miles, but we could even hike as far as 8-9 miles (round trip). Also, mileage in the mountains is more difficult due to the altitude and the elevation gain. We will be visiting beautiful Divide, Colorado this year. Our days will be spent hiking in the mountains among breathtaking views, lively streams, crystal clear mountain lakes, and wildlife we don’t get to see in the Midwest. Classes will be held on our hikes as well as at our campsite. We will also be cooking over an open fire, sleeping in tents, and sharing around campfires.

The best part of mountain camp is that we get to do all those things while reaching new heights in our spiritual walk and making life-long friendships. The theme for camp this year is ‘Suit Up’, and the theme scripture is Romans 13:12, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” What we choose to ‘put on’ or associate ourselves with is so important, and we definitely benefit from one another when we all choose to put on the armor of light. We are looking for young men and women that can come prepared physically and spiritually for this adventurous journey.

You are eligible to register for this camp if, by this summer, you will have completed the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Two 15-passenger vans will be driven to and from our destinations, so space is limited to 21 campers. If this sounds like the camp for you, don’t hesitate to register. Be sure to register within 48 hours from 12:00 am February 15th. After registration closes, the campers will be selected by a lottery system. If your name is chosen, you will be notified and given instructions to complete your registration within 24 hours from notification.
